Good morning Alumni!
We have some updates to share about this year’s Preview of Bands.
First, thank you to all 161 of you who voted for our concert number. After 1 week of intense voting, this year’s winning concert number will be Carry On Wayward Son. In close second was Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline, which, in keeping with tradition, will appear on next year’s poll.
Also, we have additional exciting news to share! Due to several larger bands attending this years band show, coupled with bleacher issues at Clifford Stadium, the 2022 Preview of Bands will be held at Dix Stadium at Kent State University! For the first time in our 50+ year history, we will have the opportunity to march on a turfed field in a college stadium! It should be an incredible event. Our rehearsals will still be held at CFHS like always. More details to come as we get closer!
We are looking forward to seeing all of you in August and hope for a huge audience at Dix Stadium!
